SUNDOWNER
SUCCESS !
Our first Sundowner
was a success. Around 30 residents came out to enjoy the food, drinks
and to meet old friends and to make new ones on June 22. A special
thank you to Diane Ryder and Dawn Stephen for their work
in making this evening a lot of fun! The second Sundowner will be held
on Sunday evening, August 17th, at 7 pm in the Clubhouse. Plan now
to bring a dish and have an enjoyable evening meeting old friends and
meeting new residents.
BOARD MEMBERS NEEDED!
The CCA Board will be electing 3 new board members to replace the 3
who have resigned during the past 2 months.
Resigning were Paul Trickey, Rebecca Little
and Michael Woody. Nominations so far are
Paul Holland, John Bissell, Brenda Ellis
and Dawn Stephen. Nominations will be taken
from the floor at the August 26 board meeting. Being on the board is
a big responsibility but the future of our complex depends on a good
board and good leaders.
NEW BOARD OFFICERS:
At the July 22 CCA board meeting, two new officers were elected to
lead Coronada. Cyndi Tierney was elected
president and Eric Ellison was elected secretary.
Thanks to these two fine individuals for agreeing to help lead Coronada.
A treasurer will be elected in the near future.
NEGOTIATORS
SELECTED:
Interest seems to be running high on who will control the cell towers
on the hill. We have had several different companies calling
wanting to bid on the opportunity to serve us in this capacity. Paul
Holland and Connie Summers have volunteered
to spearhead this endeavor. Thanks to you both!
VOLUNTEER PILOT PROGRAM
Remember, the Coronada Board of Managers proposed a way for homeowners
to help Coronada and help themselves. They started a PILOT PROGRAM
last year where homeowners can volunteer to clean the clubhouse (wash
windows, clean carpets, etc.) and earn points so they can have FREE
rent of the clubhouse for parties or meetings. For every
12 hours worked helping keep the clubhouse
clean, the homeowner will be rewarded with a FREE
clubhouse rental. For more information,
contact the office at 662-6705.

A Note From
The Manager: I would like to thank every one of you for your
kind words and tremendous support during the past few weeks. Together
we can continue to make Coronada the best condo community in Nashville
and return her to her glory days when she was new. Our complex
is a beautiful place to live. With your help, we can continue to make
needed repairs and continue to bring Coronada back to life.

NES Trimmers are Back! We received
notice this week that NES will be back cutting back brush /shrubbery and
trees on our western border. Trees to be cut have been marked with paint.
The Landscaping Committee will be in contact with NES to watch our buffer-area.
Jane Word will be
spear heading this effort. Thanks Jane!
If you are having a problem with ants, carpenter
bees or other pests, please call Bango's
Pest Control
at 847-3488.
They are under contract and will treat your uninvited guests as part of our
agreement at no additional cost to you. Contact for Wednesday for inside
spraying.
Message from Virginias Desk:
This
is just a reminder to please write separate checks when paying for more than
the monthly association fee or pay cash for extras, such as pool keys,
clubhouse rentals, etc. This helps with the bookkeeping by keeping our deposits
separate. Also BE SURE to write the month and unit number on the check when
paying association fees! Thanks!
